Monotype Named “Top Place to Work” by The Boston Globe

WOBURN, Mass., December 5th, 2024 — Monotype Imaging Inc., a global leader in type design and technology, has been recognized by The Boston Globe as one of the top places to work in Massachusetts. The Top Places to Work awards celebrate the most admired workplaces in the state voted on by the people who know them best — their employees.

Each year, The Boston Globe releases its list of best workplaces based on confidential employee survey data collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. This year’s employee engagement survey was taken by nearly 68,000 employees at 323 Massachusetts organizations. The survey measures employee opinions about their employer’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay benefits, and engagement.

Monotype was awarded Top Place to Work in the large employer category, for companies with 250 to 999 employees. Based in Woburn, Massachusetts, Monotype also has offices in Portland, Berlin, London, Noida, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Taipei, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Paris, with remote and hybrid employees spread across the globe. 

Monotype was also named “One of the Most Innovative Companies in Design” by Fast Company earlier this year. As a global technology and design company, Monotype encourages collaboration and co-creation across its close-knit teams, embracing and driving innovation across the industry.
